Biffa takes delivery of TIM No. 5. A new SD1430 Greenwaste/Woodwaste shredder for their Etwall Compost Facility

Keenan takes delivery of TIM no. 5 – a new SD1430 Greenwaste woodwaste shredder to cope with their continued expansion of their composting operation throughout Scotland.

TMA Bark Supplies Ltd of Norfolk, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of Bark and Compost products has just taken delivery of the very first TIM SD1600 XL Green/Woodwaste shredder into the UK.

This SD1600 XL is the first unit to be produced by TIM Envipro A/S Denmark, the new 600HP machine has a capacity to process up to 120 tons per hour of bark and greenwaste.

TMA’s managing director Mr Graham Andrews reports: “we needed a machine that was capable of producing both a large hourly throughput and the ability to take a 7cu/m bucket of material in one go. The machine has a 9m rear conveyor which gives us the option to either shred directly into one of our walking floor trailers or create large enough windrows behind the machine without having to constantly move the machine forward. Other factors in the decision process to purchase the new machine were the excellent after sales service and spares backup that we have always received from CGCS (Midlands) Ltd since we purchased our first TIM SD1400 nearly a year and a half ago as well as the fact that nothing is too much trouble for them, at any time of the day.”

CGCS (Midlands) Ltd suppliers of specialist recycling equipment have just been appointed Sole UK Distributor for RubbleBuster Compact Crushing Equipment by Pilot Crushtec of South Africa effective from 13th March 2006.

The RubbleBuster is an impact crusher and is available in two options, hooklift (S3R) or remote control tracked version (S3RT). Both machines are capable of crushing upto 45 tons per hour depending on type of material and can crush down to 0-9mm. CGCS are pleased to announce the first S3R into the UK will be on their stand at SED in May and will be available for demonstration or hire after the show.
